Tax Resolution

Behind with the IRS? Let's fix it.

IRS letters don't go away on their own — but they don't have to run your life either. We help you understand what the IRS is actually asking for, get back into compliance, and work toward a resolution you can afford. No lectures about how you got here.

Sound Familiar?

You're not the first person through this door.

  • A balance you can't pay at onceInstallment agreements exist for exactly this. So does knowing what you actually owe versus what the notice claims.
  • Years you never filedTwo, five, ten — we've seen it. Filing them is almost always better than the substitute return the IRS files for you.
  • Penalties stacked on penaltiesFirst-time abatement and reasonable-cause relief are real programs, and most people never ask.
  • A notice you haven't openedDeadlines are the one thing that can't be undone. Open it, then call us.
  • Business payroll taxes behindThese escalate faster than personal balances and need attention first.

Common Questions

What people ask first.

Can you make my tax debt disappear?

No honest firm can promise that, and you should walk away from any that does. What we can do is make sure the balance is correct, that every filing is in place, and that you're in the best program you qualify for — which for many clients means a substantially smaller number and a payment they can live with.

I haven't filed in years. Will I get in trouble for coming forward?

Voluntarily filing late returns is the path the IRS wants you on. It's how you stop the clock on additional failure-to-file penalties and how you become eligible for payment arrangements. Waiting to be found is the worse option.

The IRS says I owe more than I think I do. Now what?

Often that balance came from a substitute return the IRS prepared using only the income reported to them — no deductions, no dependents, no business expenses. Filing an accurate return for that year is frequently the single biggest reduction available.

What does resolution work cost?

It depends on how many years are unfiled and what path your case takes. You'll get a scope and a price after the free consultation, before any work starts. We don't put resolution fees on a card and figure it out later.

Do you handle state tax debt too?

Bring it to the consultation. State balances follow different rules than federal ones, and we'll tell you upfront what we can handle directly and where you'd be better served elsewhere.

Stay out of it next time. Most repeat IRS problems trace back to the same thing: no plan between Aprils. The Wealth Blueprint™ builds the estimated payments, records, and entity structure that keep the balance at zero.
