Personal & Business Returns

Filed right. Filed on time. Filed with a plan.

Anyone can put numbers in boxes. We prepare your return the way it should be prepared — every credit checked, every deduction supported, and every decision explained to you in plain English before we file.

Who We File For

Whatever your paperwork looks like.

Most of our clients don't fit one neat category — a W-2 job plus a side business, a rental, a spouse who drives for an app. That's the normal we work in every day.

Common Questions

Straight answers.

How much does tax preparation cost?

Pricing depends on the forms your situation actually requires — a single W-2 return is not the same job as a return with a business, a rental, and two states. You'll get the price before we start work, not after. Qualifying clients can have preparation fees taken from their refund.

Do I have to come into the office?

No. We work with clients in person at our Memphis office and remotely across the Mid-South. Remote clients complete the same intake, send documents securely, and review the return with us before anything is e-filed.

How long does my refund take?

The IRS issues most refunds within 21 days of accepting an e-filed return with direct deposit. Returns claiming the Earned Income Credit or Additional Child Tax Credit are held by law until mid-February. Refund advance products, where you qualify, can make funds available sooner.

What if I get a letter after you file?

Send it to us. Reviewing IRS correspondence for returns we prepared is part of the relationship, not a separate engagement. If the letter turns into a larger resolution matter, we'll tell you plainly what that involves before doing anything.

Can you file for prior years?

Yes, and we'd rather you file them than avoid them. Unfiled years are the first thing the IRS wants handled, and getting current is what opens up payment plans and penalty relief.

Books + Taxes bundle. Clients on a monthly bookkeeping package come into filing season with the year already reconciled — no shoebox, no scramble, and a bundled rate for both.
